Idon't have Ubisoft Connect even open when try launching the game. It's just completely bugged and I've given up on trying to play it on my PC because I've followed every guide that I could find and nothing works and it's been too long to receive a refund so I just accept it as a loss. Assassins Creed Origins and other UPlay games not working with Proton. I bought AC:Origins and an AC chronicles game and can't get either of them to launch using steamplay. Thatis not my problem, i know my cd-key, the problem is that uplay is asking for my cdkey again even though I already have it tied to that uplay account. Read the second paragraph. The steps in that link should eliminate the problem if you have another known or unknown Uplay account or other factor causing the problem.

Hereare the steps I've taken: download the game in Steam. double click it and Uplay opens up. type in the product key in Uplay, it activates. click Play in Uplay. This is where stuff falls apart. Uplay and Steam both think the game has launched, but I can't see the application (even in Task Manager).
